Events and Ministries

The Bible teaches that earnest prayer has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16) and walking is good for our physical bodies.
We will hold this event monthly and determine a different date and place each month.

August's Walk and Pray Details!

Location: Alum Creek Lake Visitor Center (5905 Lewis Center Rd, Lewis Center)
Time: 6:30-7:30pm

Every couple of weeks, join a group of women as we dive into God’s Word through the YouVersion Bible App. We read a short devotional with some Scripture and make comments about what we read all right on the app.

 There is no set time for this and can be done anytime throughout the day. It’s a great way to engage online with GP women. Here is the schedule and link to join each group:

If you love to read, then join the GP Book Club! Every month, we read a book and gather at 6:30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of the month to discuss the book and just have fun.

Participate every month or choose specific months that fit your schedule.

What we think about Jesus matters. In this 8-session series, Louie Giglio will take us through the book of Colossians to help us form a complete picture of Jesus. What we believe about Him influences everything from our corporate worship to our relationships to our attitude toward sin. Now alive in Christ, we can live a life worthy of God instead of falling back into the ways of the world.
We will begin this series on June 21 and will run through Aug 16th (skipping July 5) at the church from 10 – noon. There will be no homework for this series. Please reach out to Melissa Rideout ( for more details.
